Just caught this artwork on deviantArt:

That looks sweet.
In general I like it and cant wait to see the development of a phone with Ubuntu on it. but… do we really need Unity if all of the apps will be on the main screen and most likely scrollable pages? Or maybe have Unity on the phone if thep hone was held in a high def format (wide). Right now, a Unity bar taking up half the phone screen going up and down makes zero sense, and if we put unity on the bottom it would look uhhhh… a bit like iphone. But if we were able to scroll through fave apps on a bottom Unity bar I might like it. Then again… just as easy to swipe through a page or two of apps with zero need for a scrolling Unity.
And since Im at it
If we had a phone with all the apps on scrollable screens, and this mimicked that to a tablet (like say… Ubuntu Netbook Remix) wouldnt it be JUST THAT? Ubuntu Netbook with the big icons? Seems like we could end up going in circles here.
That is interesting. I saw a similar mockup of a Ubuntu phone in another blog that looks similar as well.
“beautiful” I can’t agree with
well hey, if you can’t make a phone a computer, just make a computer a phone … who needs to multitask anyway?
I thinks it’s pretty gay. Also I doubt it would succeed.
