This isn’t working for me. Error:

“/tmp/dgVhNjUS.pdf.part could not be saved, because the source file could not be read.

Try again later, or contact the server administrator.”

  2. Kyle says:

Looks like it was just a local problem. Other downloads weren’t working till I rebooted. Your pdf downloaded just fine.

  3. Kyle says:

Are the PDF’s illustrations done using Inkscape? If so, nice job.

    Thanks for this nice document!

Kyle: Absolutely! Inkscape rocks and using it makes these sorts of things much easier to produce.

Is there a way to have the sources documents you created to generate this PDF? I might be interested in translating this guide.

A “How-to ask smart questions” isn’t something really new, there are a lot of them in many forums; but having one (very nicely) illustrated and more concise than most of these howtos, like yours, is a must. I absolutely like it. :)

    Hey AlexandreP,

I’ve very much welcome a translation, but it will have to be done properly. I don’t want random translations floating around online, so email me and we’ll organise the translation and make sure you get to do it in the best way possible and I get to consolidate the translation in files. It also means new versions get propagated too.

  9. “Don’t forget to favorite if you can?”

Ya know if someone else said that I’d like, “well well well mister tada look at me…” But I gotta say ya bastard, I do favorite your blog. It’s one of the very few that seems to have consistently, if not with every post, something relevant, interesting, new and friggin useful. Are you sure your brit? (Irish Prejudice showing through…)
