User Data Services, technical

I’m working on a project called user data services, the development project is nicknamed ‘coisas’

This project attempts to bring together data access on a desktop computer through a service bus such as dbus.

So far the progress of this project has been good, most of the api and plugin archatecture is laid out, now we just add more and more as time goes on.

Like all programmers in the free and open source community, I find attracting developers to new unproven projects to be quite hard. Sometimes it’s just being able to describe your ideas effectivly. Other times it’s having something worth while that programmers can work from.

So my aim is to bring the project some attention, hopfully some developers will see how utterly cool it is and will at least peer review my code for structural problems.

I’m starting a blog, where I can document my technical and political ideas.

This won’t be personal, but I will be discussing topics as varied as FOSS, Ubuntu, World Politics, Science and Theology.

If your wondering what the sub-title means:

These dragons are generally called swamp dragons. Eat anything around them, rework their internal organs to process it into fuel and then explode. It may be that they are fighting a rival or a predator, perhaps being over-excited or just plain bored, these dragons will leave parts of themselves scattered over the scenery. The collective noun for swamp dragons is “a slump” or “an embarrassment”.
